What are people saying about
Little Fish?
Carrie
Szlyk, 2007
“Little Fish Swimming has made my 4-year old and 2-year old
truly into “little fish”. The coach’s patience, creativity and
enthusiasm for teaching young children to swim have created a
true love and respect for the water in my children. My children
constantly ask when their next swim lesson is. The staff’s
professionalism and willingness to work with each child at his
or her level have made all the differences in helping my
children go from being a bit timid in the water to opening their
eyes underwater, floating on their backs and swimming across the
pool.”
Ingrid Mahar, 2007
“When we brought our 4 year
old daughter to Little Fish Swimming, she loved the water but
could not swim. After the first week, we saw incredible
progress. We decided to commit to four weeks of instruction and
by the end of that four week period, our daughter was a swimmer.
The small class size provided our daughter with personalized
attention and the instructors were just fantastic. I also
appreciated their commitment to teaching pool safety while
encouraging our daughter's independence; after the first week
our daughter was able to swim underwater to the side of the pool
and lift herself out without any assistance. Their emphasis on
individual progression and achievement made it fun and a truly
enjoyable experience for our daughter. We are looking forward to
the summer so that our daughter can resume her lessons with
Little Fish-she loved her instructors and can't wait to hit the
pool with them again."
Cheryl Hawley, 2007
“Our young
grandchildren have been swimming with Little Fish since last
summer and have grown to love the water. We especially
appreciate their unique approach to teaching young children.
They are not your "cookie cutter" swim instructors. We've been
quite amazed at the progress the girls have made and the skills
they are developing. Both are swimming and really enjoying their
time in the pool.”
Verna Mae Bretschneider,
2008
“Little Fish
Swimming offers a rare opportunity to you as a parent or
grandparent to give your children. They have what few
organizations can offer in this day; integrity, patience,
perseverance, flexibility, stability, enthusiasm, encouragement
and of course talented swim instructors. Our 3 year old
grandson, a non-swimmer, who loved the water and had no fear of
it, did not realize the dangers or problems that he could get
into in the water. Starting with their summer program for 2
weeks this past year, all the instructors did a suburb job of
initiating our grandson to the basic water skills needed to
learn to swim. The classes were very small and each child
received personal attention at the level of understanding that
he or she needed. We have continued on with lessons once a week
this winter and cannot believe the progress our grandson has
made. We now have a grandson who loves the water even more. He
is motivated and wants to join the “big kids” swim team some day
and hopefully little fish swim instructors will get him there.”
