We recently had the opportunity to welcome Bill Freehling from the Fredericksburg Free Press into our newest Little Fish Swimming location at New Post, and we couldn’t be more excited to share a behind-the-scenes look with our community.
As part of the Free Press’ “Biz Beat Clips,” Bill stopped by to tour the facility, learn more about our program, and, most importantly, see firsthand what makes Little Fish Swimming such a special place for families in the Fredericksburg area.
A Space Built for Confidence, Safety, and Growth
We designed Our New Post location with one goal in mind: to create the best possible environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll notice the difference. This facility includes a heated indoor pool with dedicated learning areas. This allows us to meet each swimmer where they are, whether they’re just getting comfortable in the water or refining advanced skills.
Parents can relax in a comfortable viewing area with clear sight lines of the pool, making it easy to watch their “little fish” build confidence, develop skills, and celebrate milestones along the way.
What Makes Little Fish Different
During the tour, we highlighted what truly sets Little Fish Swimming apart:
Small class sizes: Swimmers ages 3+ have no more than 4 swimmers per class. As a result, each swimmer receives personalized attention and more time to improve.
In-water instruction: Additionally, our instructors support swimmers every step of the way, creating a more hands-on and comfortable learning experience.
A progressive curriculum: As swimmers build skills, they can advance as soon as they’re ready, which helps maintain confidence and momentum.
A team that genuinely cares: Above all, our team focuses on creating a positive, encouraging environment where every swimmer feels supported.
Because of this, our mission has always been to provide “The Best Lessons Experience.” With this new space, we’re able to bring that vision to even more families in the Fredericksburg community.
