One of the keys to “the best lessons experience” at Little Fish Swimming is the training and relationships that we have with our coaches. Swimmers anticipate seeing their coach each week and working toward passing their next objective. The coach and swimmer relationship is an important one built through trust and encouragement. We are pleased to share with you one of our coaches, Kayleigh!
Coach Bio – Kayleigh Childress
Are you originally from the Fredericksburg area?
“I’m from the Spotsylvania area.”
Are you in school? What are your plans after graduation?
“I currently go to Spotsylvania High, but I am dual-enrolled in Germanna and will graduate with an Associate’s degree in Spring 2020.”
What are your hobbies or interests?
“Some of my hobbies are swimming, competitive robotics, rocketry, and theatre.”
What is something that you think would surprise people or that you would like them to know about you?
“I’m a self taught musician and spend a lot of my free time playing the ukulele.”
What is your favorite thing about being a swim coach?
“My favorite thing about being a swim coach is getting to share my passion with others and seeing the students grow in their ability to swim.”
